Meet Brendan



Here is Brendan shortly after he was picked up by collie rescue. His previous owner was an elderly man that could hardly take care of himself, let alone the 6 dogs that he had. The picture, while dramatic, doesn't begin to show just how bad off he was when he walked through Animal Welfare League's doors. His sweet disposition gave us hope that he could be helped, and luckily for us, Jenny Roberts and her rescue group stepped in to help this poor guy out.



Here is the most recent picture of Brendan. As you can see, his recovery is nothing short of miraculous. For the many purebreds that enter the League, particularly those in a situation as bad off as Brendan, many are fortunate enough to have the support of caring rescues. Additionally, our very own foster program, Make a Difference, cares for dogs and cats just like Brendan every day- animals that just need a little help for a second chance at life.
