   The author, in his published work, focused on the role of vocational education and training, VET, as an essential mean for building a sound indigenous scientific and technical infrastructure. The linkage of VET and local industry is also stress, since it  contributes in enhancing student’s knowledge, skills, and attitude is highly noted in the related literature. The author also tackles the issue of technology transfer and the need to enhance local capabilities through education and training. It is thus, through which the country can reduce the level of dependence on imported technology. The recommendations embodied in the published work, particularly on VET can be considered as the future prospective for decision makers in educational planning.

 

  

 

   إهتم الباحث فى انتاجة العلمى المنشور فى  العديد من المجلات العلمية المحكمة ببيان أهمية ودور التعليم الفنى والمهنى فى بناء قاعدة علمية فنية وطنية قادرة على ادارة وتطويع وتطوير التكنولوجيا المستوردة لتتناسب مع البيئة المحلية. ولقد تم أيضأ الاهتمام بالعلاقة بين التعليم الفنى والمهنى والقطاع الصناعى لما لذلك من أهمية فى صقل معلومات ومهارات واتجاهات المتدربين. ولقد تم كذلك التعرض الى موضوع نقل التكنولوجيا من خلال التعليم والتدريب للتقليل من الاعتماد على التكنولوجيا المستوردة.
