Thank you for your hard work, the entire P-51 story from its conception to its final wartime flight is what America was all about. I hope we have not lost that somewhere in this modern version of America.

I think you have a great webpage about a great fighter and want to thank you for all of the work you've done on it! I saw a comment in a military website guestbook from a fellow who'd just read that new WWII novel, "THE TRIUMPH AND THE GLORY" and recomme
ded it highly. Always eager to read about military history, I got a copy from barnesandnoble.com and thought it was just terrific. The novel is a stirring story of courage and dedication to doing what is right, no matter what the cost. I was happy to h
ve been told about the book, so I'm passing on the word whenever I visit a veteran's website. But enough about that, my only suggestion for your page is to add more of the kind of stuff you already have. If something isn't broke it doesn't need fixing.
Keep up the good work!

Nice page. Looks like picture on front page taken at Clark County,IN airport about 1995 or '96?? I also like the 'stang very much. Have several friends who own at least one some have two. Great to see people who are trying to save this almost forgotten hi
tory to pass along to younger generations. I myself am a crew chief on a 1955 Grumman S2-F1 Tracker, anti- submarine aircraft. Keep up the good work.

Don't wish to be a nit picker but the 51 shown in the picture was an early model with an alison engine, wasn't it? Also, I believe the service ceiling has one too many zeros in it.
Thanks for a great memory

The P-51 was the victorer of WWII. I'm sure
we all share the same opinion. Can't never learn
enough about aviation of the past. Keep up the
pace with these fine aircraft.

Great info, except I think you erred on the P51D specs. Do I see 480,000 feet as a service ceiling? And do I see that at 2,491 lbs. ?
I'm looking for photos of the H model. Got any you are willing to share?
Thanx,
Harvey Britt
