Brief History

The band got started sometime in 1993 with Revic and Anthony getting together with a couple of Anthony's cousins. Things never really took off due to incompatible schedules. Shortly Revic's younger brother, Revirick "Bonjoc", came into the scene and the three started off like a Nirvana kind of setup. The band played cover songs until Rommel joined after hearing about the so-called "band." He brought about new blood as well as fresh ideas which turned the band around and sound the way it has become. This individuality brought about each and everyone's style giving it a distinct identity.


The sole reason of forming the band was to enjoy playing music together whilst making the most of each one's talent, of course, intially through experimentation. However they tried their luck by performing at a televised local jam session (RJ TV) after which they were selected and invited to perform with other selected groups. A record contract was supposed to have been drawn along with the other selected bands but the record company pulled the plug on whole thing!

Influences

Each member of the band had their own set of musical influences. With the Jocson brothers' strong punk rock and folk music background as well as with mainstream rock bands (used to be the underground music then). Added with Rommel's touch courtesy of the Jimi Hendrix experience and of other famous guitarists like Kirk Hammet of Metallica and Slash of Guns 'N Roses. That combined with Anthony's concoction of Slayer/Metallica/Pantera/Pearl Jam influences brought about a very potent mix.

Acknowledgments

This page is dedicated to my former band mates who have since moved on as with myself. Just a little something from the good old days. Perhaps a reunion will do sometime in the future!
