St. Brendans - 2000

 All of the following photos were taken in May 2000. I hope you will enjoy them as much as you enjoyed the older pictures of St. Brendan's.

It is always a pleasure to be greeted by the crew members, some of which are residents of the island.

This is an unusual cargo for the ferry, but presented no challenge to the seasoned crew.

On our trip we experienced some minor trouble... problems with a fuel pump. But a rescue boat was soon dispatched to tow us back to port.

An abandoned house in Penny's Cove. This house, originally owned by Thomas Knox, was bought and floated from Shalloway Cove to this location by a schoolteacher, Mr. Bill Cooper.
