Well let me tell you. I am Joe. Chances are that if you have come this far, you already know that. But if you don't, here is a quick bio.
I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. Actually, I grew up in the borough of Bellevue, just to the north of the city limits.
When I was 20 years old, I joined the Coast Guard and have been moving from place to place since then. I have been in the CG for over 24 years now, and am currently stationed in Washington, DC. I am an Electronics Technician Master Chief and my job description right now can best be describe as Program Manager for 2M/MTR. I just returned to DC after spending a year at Electronics Support Unit New Orleans, LA as the Command Master Chief. We got out of there just in time to miss Katrina.
Shortly after becoming an ET, I was stationed in Cape May, NJ. There I met my wife, Lisa. We have two children, Shauni and Brandi. Shauni is presently a junior and Brandi is in the eight grade. We also have a very good dog named Dusti, and a new kitten named Precious.
Lisa is from Delaware County in Eastern PA. The borough of Folcroft. She was spending the summer in Cape May, NJ when she met me in 1985.
Lisa has spent most of the last 20 years doing the harder job of raising the two rugrats, but she now has a job at a nearby Food Lion where she worked before we went to New Orleans. She also has been a real trooper by following me around as my job in the military sends me hither and yon. We are in the home stretch now and only time will tell what we will be doing next.
