Commander Gregoire began his naval career on 23 April, 1965 as an enlisted member of the Naval Air Reserve. After boot camp, he was accepted into an accelerated training and advancement program and assigned to reserve anti-submarine squadrons at NAS Norfolk, VA; NAF Washington DC; NAS South Weymouth, MA, and USS Enterprise.

CDR Gregoire completed Aircrew Survival Equipment training at NAS Lakehurst, NJ in 1967 and was assigned to NAS Grosse Ile, MI. During this tour, CDR Gregoire earned his Aircrew wings, qualifying on SH3A’s and C-118’s. At NAF Detroit, he was honorably discharged from active duty in 1971 as a PR2. He continued his naval career in the Naval Reserve serving with VR-52 and CG-32 Stanley at the N&MCRC, Rochester, NY, promoted to PR1 in 1981.

After completing his MS Degree in Computer Systems Management, CDR Gregoire was commissioned Ensign, Intelligence in 1981. He has served as an Intel Analyst in units supporting the Naval Technical Intelligence Center and the Naval Maritime Intelligence Center. Recently, he was assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence – 1805 as the Production Officer.

CDR Gregoire was assigned to his current position as Executive Officer of Defense Intelligence Agency – 0705 on 1 October, 1998.

CDR Gregoire married to Janice (Marsai) of Lincoln Park, MI. in 1969. They have three children and currently reside in Rochester, NY where he is employed by Paychex, Inc.

During his career, CDR Gregoire has earned the Naval and Marine Corps Achievement medal, three Meritorious Unit Commendation medals, two Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service medals, the Naval Reserve medal, and the Expert Pistol Medal.
