5D 5 DEGREE STOCK MOTOR Trinity has answered the request of NORRCA and ROAR and produced the first 5 degree stock motor built to the submitted spec for this new class of racing. This stock motor meets all the NORRCA/ROAR technical specifications for a longer lasting "regulated" speed stock motor. The 5D is designed for a new stock racing class designed to cut speeds and racing costs. Specs: 27 Turn 22 awg wire, 5 degree Locked timing, (endbell and commutator), stand-up brushes, full armature blank, wet magnets.
New "P2k Z Speed™ armature lamination design produces more power then the Paradox. 100% pure copper brush hoods and heatsinks for less resistance. Anodized aluminum heatsinks do not conduct current. That leaves 1/4 of the brushes surface area insulated.Copper also conducts the heat more efficiently away from the brushes and commutator for longer brush life. Asymmetrical venting in the motor can between the magnets increases the magnetic timing of the motor. More material in the back of the can reduces magnetic flux loss and increases the magnetic field. 3 surface mounted capacitors means there is no third capacitors to solder on like with other motors

CHAMELEON 19 TURN SPEC MODIFIED. The Chameleon is a 19 turn 19 gauge spec modified motor for tracks thet want to run a faster class then stock, but have some limits on cost. The Chameleon is also based on the Midnight 2 but features ball bearings and a full blank modified style armature. Easy to remove endbell. Endbell can not be rotated in can due to square design. Endbell has key to make sure timing is kept at 24 degrees. Endbell has notch on can and endbell that align to insure timing has not been altered. Large inspection holes allow for quick checking of commutator. Armature is designed with longer shaft that protudes from endbell. Shaft also has unique taper, (different then the Paradox) so that armature may easily be identified while motor is assembled and in car. Armature has a tag epoxied in place that is visable through holes in can and prevents tampering with armature. Large holes around can and endbell bushings allow for easy teching of bushings. All parts are available seperatly. Overhead springs allow soldering both leads on the same size side of motor yet keeps shunts as close to leads as possible for lowest resistance.

GTX-600 Speedline Outboard Motor.6” high, 12 oz. weight. This has a hot Speed 600 motor in it, stainless drive shaft, bronze gears, and tilts through 5 degrees up and down. Tilt can be fixed or you can use GR23391 HydroSpeed-Trim Device which uses your servo for the tilt function. Graupner’s instructions indicate about 25 Amps current with a 7 cell nicad pack, so use a Motor Controller that will handle slightly more than 25A.
