| Cpl. James Phelps. Frank though this was taken at LZ Ross just after Jim had returned from R&R in Tokyo. Here he sits in a silk smoking jacket, a few days removed from one of the major cities in the world. In a day or two he will be sleeping in the same mud that you can see on his boots. The quick change from "the real world" back to Vietnam was often difficult to handle. |
