Mission-Bravo Assault
Bravo Group will consist of General Vladimirov's platoon, supported by 1 light infantry division of 10000 men.
They will be fighting for control of the soviet sector, 6800 are in position,
a further 1200 have blockaded all A-class roads.
The Americans are already fleeing even as the talks are continuing,
the base may still be clung on to by some forces.
It will not be deserted.
The final group will be dropped behind the border with your platoon traveling with
10th Airbourne regiment, in order to confuse the enemy.
Your final contact with CC Headquarters will be at
0619, we will give you the signal the attack.
At
0620 you will be in position near Himmler Strasse, and you should be able to see the 10th airbourne assault on the NATO Barracks.
Once you hear the sirens go off, get over to the guard towers and
take out any resistance.
Go straight through the 3rd set of gates and get in behind the main action.
(By now you should see our troops flanking from the west, and you would do well to keep your head down, the battle is going to get very bloody.)
The Stasi know exactly where the Ambassador is speaking,
the charges will be set somewhere in the compound, just get inside the compound.
Your mission is to get the 25 representatives out of the battle zone.
You will be surrounded by high explosives, Humvees and US Army vehicles.
Get them into our APC's when they arrive, do not let them come under fire from the heavy gear.
You will have about 15 minutes in total.

This is a classic opportunity for promotion.
Good luck, you can do this Commander.

The real mission:

You will be dropped from the air outside the enemy base, passing several buildings, you should see the entrance.
You will have 5 30-round magazines and a gun each which gives you 750 rounds of ammunition, and your soldiers will travel at 8kts max (hey, what do you think they are?)
The problem with the ground assault is getting used to the difficulty of being wide open. You must use a little stealth because if the enemy see you (visually aquire you) then you will find yourselves dead in no time.
But then again, if you get to them first you will have no problem.
It is a mile away from driving a tank being a soldier.
You have to watch the scenery slowly crawl by, you can literally stop and take a look round the corner of one of the apartment blocks.
So as a Spetsnaz soldier you will have to do the dirty work that the Russian Army cannot do, not killing civilians.
If you kill civilians or UN troops (even worse) your mission is over.
And who knows, you might even come against a M1 Tank with only 10 rounds left.
And would you like to take out a blackhawk with an SA-16 Igla?
Just take a look at what I have got up to....

A 2S6 Tunguska has the hazardous job of protecting the Berlin skies, a HARM is lethal

Still, at least 2S6 units work in pairs!
