Oreo, My Faithful Companion
Approximately 13 years ago an ad appeared in the Pensacola News Journal about a Cockerpoo for sale. I responded and paid $50.00 dollars for the 8 week old puppy, without hesitation, thinking that I had a small dog. Boy, was I wrong. He didn't quit growing. My best guess is that he is a Spaniel mix. Mixed with what? I don't have the foggiest idea. I DO know that there is not enough 50 dollar bills to buy him now.
Oreo is 13 years old now and getting down in his hips pretty bad, but he still has a lot of staying power. He don't know how to quit. He just keeps going. I hope for many more years.
