When designing the implementation of controls, safety managers should address each of the five separate control mechanisms. Care should also be taken to ensure that the individual parts of the program are kept integrated with each other. The purpose of the Safety Manger’s Guide to Control Implementation is to give Safety Manager’s step by step instruction in the processes of controlling hazards. The Safety Manger’s Guide to Control Implementation consists of five separate manual groups. Group one is Developing and Maintaining a Safety Plan (SOP). Group two is Managing and Developing Safety Training. Group three is Managing and Developing Safety Leadership Tools and Training. Group four is Managing and Developing Individual Safety Awareness Programs. Group five is Safety Controls Through Engineering.
