KADEK TERRORISTS ARE CAPTURED ONE BY
ONE!...
Although the PKK has changed its name into KADEK to avoid the surveillance of
the security forces after its inclusion to the list of terrorist organizations
of the European Union, the terrorists belonging to the organization cannot get
away from the police.
The German authorities, underlining that the ban on the PKK, which has been
applied since 1993 in Germany is also valid for KADEK, state that they will not
let the KADEK terrorists escalate violence, using the imprisonment conditions of
Abdullah Ocalan, leader of the organization, as a pretext.
The German Federal Prosecutor General Kay Nehm, acting against the activities of
the terrorist KADEK (PKK) in Germany, issued an arrest warrant for a terrorist
named Ali S., a KADEK-PKK functionary, for "being the director of the terrorist
organization" and "organizing the activities of KADEK".
According to an article published in Die Tageszeitung Daily on January 21, 2003,
KADEK director Ali S., for whom an arrest warrant had been issued by Federal
Prosecutor Kay Nehm, was captured in Mannheim and imprisoned. The statement of
the bureau of the Federal Prosecutor is as follows: "Ali S., who had been the
Berlin representative of the terrorist PKK between April 2001 and February 2002
and organized the activities of the terrorist organization, will be prosecuted
for acting as a director of a terrorist organization and planning acts of
violence".
The statement of the Prosecution, indicating that the terrorist PKK changed its
name into KADEK in April 2002, pointed out that KADEK, the extension of the PKK,
is banned in Germany by stating that, "The ban for the PKK is also valid for
KADEK. Although the organization has changed its name, the terrorist structure
and activities prevail".
According to reports published in the Ozgur Politika Newspaper on January 23-25,
2003, the police arrested 7 functionaries of the organization who were chanting
slogans in favor of Ocalan/KADEK and obstructing the traffic by burning tires in
Berlin, Stuttgart and Köln, demanding the rehabilitation of Abdullah Ocalan's
prison conditions. Police authorities emphasize that the mentioned functionaries
will be tried for "organizing an act of terrorism".
The State Court of Frankfurt sentenced 4 KADEK terrorists to 8 months of
imprisonment for occupying the Greek Consulate to protest the arrest of
terrorist Abdullah Ocalan. The State Court of Hamburg, meanwhile, sentenced 5
sympathizers of the organization to imprisonment for participating in the
campaign titled "I am a PKK member, too", organized by the terrorist
organization last year. In the indictment, the Prosecution demanded "Hasan
Karagoz, Yavuz Persoglu, Sevda Ozaltun and Mursel Karasu, who have been under
detention since July 2, 2001 for participating in activities organized to
violate the ban against the PKK in Germany, be imprisoned and fined heavily." It
is emphasized that the State Court of Hamburg, which accepted the proposal of
the Prosecution, might in the coming days similarly punish around 2 thousand
sympathizers who participated in the campaign of "identity declaration",
organized by the terrorist PKK which has been banned in Germany.
Osman Ocalan, high level director of terrorist KADEK, criticizing the approach
of Germany towards the cadres of the organization, made the following statement
on Medya TV on January 17, 2003, and therefore clearly exposed the terrorist
identity of KADEK, the extension of the PKK: "The struggle of the PKK is over.
KADEK is going to wage the new war. This war will be fought in the cities,
rather than the mountains. KADEK's war will develop not only in Turkey and
Kurdistan, but also in the Middle East and whole world."
International public opinion expects that the struggle of German security forces
with KADEK terrorists should be an example for the other European Union
countries and that KADEK, which threatens the world with "terror", should be
included in the EU's "list of terrorist organizations" as soon as possible.
