Mutoscope cards were made by the International Mutoscope Corporation. They made affordable the fabulous lithographers art of the era. Works of artists such as Moran, Elvegren, Devorss, to name a few were now affordable and available. Mutoscope cards are 3 1/4" by 5 1/4" and sold from machines for 2 cent each or 3 for 5 cents. Six different sets of 32 to 64 different cards were made in the 1940's. There were two publishers of Mutoscope cards. Brown and Bigelow who used a B&B logo on their cards and Louis Dow with no logo. To View the different images from each set just click on the Title header for that set. Not all the sets have complete picture scans - if you have some of the missing images please do send then to me so that I can add them to my list. | |||||||||||||||||||||
