Tierpark Hellabrunn
The Zoo in Munich

Tierpark Hellabrunn, the zoological garden in Munich, is also called a geo-zoo, as the animals are grouped according to continent of origin. What makes this zoo so special is that the grounds resemble the animals' natural habitats. It stretches over an area of 173 acres (so you better bring good walking shoes...), and it has more than 4,500 specimens of about 580 species.

We got many of great pictures during our visit there, way too many to put on this page. But still, this page has lots of pictures, so please be patient while it is loading.
