We are based out of Corpus Christi, Texas.  We are a heavy aggressive band, with a female vocalist.  We have a lot of variety.  This is our dream.  We love making music.  We have so many influences and inspirations but we try and stay away from resembling anything that is already out.  When we get together and create music, it doesn't matter how much of an influence another band has on us, because something totally different sounding can come out.  That's the magic of music.  We create music we like, and hopefully others can enjoy as well...

how we formed-(Lena Speaks) Dawn and i have always been really into music. We share alot of the same interests in music. We talked about starting a band a bunch of times. Our father was in a band. Growing up we were around music alot. Before DnebuLa,Dawn and, I had jamed with several people, but nothing ever clicked. No more time for just sitting around we really wanted to pursue our dreams and we became more confident. So we were in search for a guitarist and a drummer. Meanwhile, Gabe was in a band called FUSE. They had their shit together. they had even recorded a demo c.d. and played out. Dawn and i hung out with them alot at their jam sessions. Well, they slowly broke up. tried working things out, but the whole band didnt come through as one. We told Gabe of our ideas wanting to start a band. Something official, not just fun jamming like we were doing before. We didnt know if he was going to accept. We were really hoping he would because he is an awesome guitar player and we saw his work with FUSE. So he was in. We just needed to find a drummer. We knew several people who were drummers, but we were looking for something new. A friend of ours knew Ryan and told us about him..Dawn had seen him jam before and was impressed. We asked him if he would jam with us, and he too accepted. So there we had our 4 basic members. We would stay open-minded and look into other members in the near future. Justin was a friend of ours. We always hung out with him at Gabes FUSE practices. He came with us to our first jams with the new formation of DnebuLa.. He would hang out. Well he played Key-boards and started throwing shit in with our jams, and it was just awesome. We all really liked what he was adding in. It gave the music the touch we needed. and thats how we all got together and formed.
The name- well the name came before we all got joined actually. Dawn and I both wanted to be in a band, and well, it didnt come untill later that we decided to be in a band together. We both had our ideas of bands names we liked. Dawn told me hers and she made me promise not to try and steal it from her! it was NEBULA. Well i didnt like it anyways. i thought it was to common. But for some reason when we started jamming together i just accepted that because she wanted it real bad. Turns out there was already a band with that name. I wasnt upset...but i thought we could do something with the name. Bands like DrainSTH, Hed(pe), Static-X had added things to their original name beccause it had already been taken. So dawn and I were sitting in the living room thinking, and we thought of several things. We were actually going down the alphabet and we stopped at "D" and looked at eachother. That for some reason clicked. Then we carried on a conversation and we were saying DnebuLa when we talked about us, and we started liking it more and more. I like DnebuLa alot better cause i think it gives it an edge of originality.
