I have an interesting thing happen this morning. Late yesterday a friend of Nurse Cathy’s asked for a meeting this morning at a suburban hotel. Since April was planning a good long weekend, this meeting would interrupt plans. But she came highly recommended.


Since I do appreciate having a professional nurse administer enemas I had to go. We scheduled it at 10, and on my way there she called to say she would be late. So I would be sitting in the lobby of a depressing suburban Marriott waiting for this client.

Since this hotel has a Starbucks inside, I went in and got quite a shock. A big crowd of people were in the lobby, dressed to kill for a wedding. The women were extraordinary, in glitzy dresses and other special occasion outfits, many long dresses. I sat with my tea in an area with 8 or nine cushy chairs to be able to survey the situation

It was heaven. Of course there were the corresponding men there too, but I ignored them. The were older women and young girls, one with a mini skirt that was so short I could see the tops of her pantyhose

The whole lobby reeked of 50 different kinds of perfume!

Just then three women, obviously sisters, sat across from me. There was such a mass of perfume and makeup, nails and jewelry, gold clutches and shoes—it was amazing. I was beside myself. One of the women had gold mules with black hose with reinforced toes! One of them had sparkle hosiery on…when is the last time you have seen sparkle hosiery?


But then I realized they were actually talking about their hosiery, and the other two took their shoes off and they all compared stockings. Just then one of them said “Oh we are disturbing this man”. “No no” I said…”I assume you are here for a wedding?” “Yeah” one of them said in her best Long Island accent. There was plenty more to look at as well, and I spent 20 minutes getting all excited. Finally Sheila, Cathy’s friend arrived, and we adorned to a more private spot to discuss the future


She shoed me a picture of how she would show up. And that pretty much closed the deal before we started talking. White uniform, hat white stockings and shoes….more to come on this

In my last update I mentioned a TS who wanted to meet me…it was some kind of hoax. I am pretty adept at recognizing these things, and all “she” seemed to want was my home address. When I suggested a public place she seemed to lose interest. Can’t be too careful

Thanks to all of you who sent me suggestions for new foundation. I have tried a few things, and what I am happiest with right now is “Smooth Indulgence” from Dermablend. It is not the stuff they make to cover medical issues, but more mainstream and it did a good job

I find the difference is what department stores carry from one location to another amazing. Macys’s in The South Shore Plaza Mall has a great selection of Hosiery, Macy’s at the Burlington mall has an awful selection. Lord and Taylor has much better dresses in Burlington that any Lord and Taylor’s I have been in.

I have gotten a lot of email about, believe it or not, where to find sanitary belts. EBay!!!! Come girls have a little imagination

Despite the fact that I have a zillion pairs of stockings, I still look on EBay. The good stuff is still pretty expensive, but the second tier stuff is pretty inexpensive these days.
