Purple Jacket Dress

Before I start I want you all to know something. This is going to be my last update and I am going to take my site down. I am now in the midst of transitioning to a full time woman. I have been on hormones for 2 years now, and last week I had plastic surgery including breast augmentation (DD cup!), eye lift, nose job and more, most notably an orchiectomy. I am recovering nicely but it is time for me to move on.

Wow it has been a busy couple of weeks since my last update

I have been to Paris and back. Stayed at the Intercon as usual. With the US$ so bad there¡¦s not much point in shopping though, and I only had one afternoon

This is a jacket dress I got a while ago at Estelle¡¦s.

It¡¦s more purple than blue, but the photos don¡¦t show the true color

I think this outfit says something about April¡¦s interests. I have come full circle from 5 and 6 inch heels to these little chunky purple and clear vinyl shoes because they matched my outfit

Carol and Amy were coming over, and Amy actually commented on this very subject. She said I seemed very ¡§Ladylike¡¨, a complement I cherished! She was after some free employment advice for the most part though

Miss Carol has Fridays off and suggested a girl¡¦s day out. Since I had worked 10 straight days I concurred

I don¡¦t like wearing fake nails when I am out dressed --I think it is another ¡§Give away¡¨

Carol had suggested starting the day with a manicure and pedicure, and I must say it was wonderful! I do my own toe nails now, and I have had a pedicure before, but this one was particularly nice. My nails came out great too, considerng they are not very long. The owner of the salon kept telling me I was always welcome, so she obvioulsy "read" me.

Then we went outlet shopping to one of my favorite haunts.

I needed some new shirts and ¡§Brooks Brothers¡¨ had some nice new styles

Then we got some costume jewelry at ¡§Off Fifth¡¨, and I got 8 pairs of pantyhose that was a very good value.

Both of us got some makeup at ¡§The Cosmetics¡¦ Factory Outlet¡¨.

And neither of us got anything at the ¡§Bebe¡¨ outlet!

I made Carol go to both the "Maidenforn" Outlet and the "Bali/Playtex" outlet
I got this a a few other half slips. Carol thought I was being a traitor to her store.

Then we stopped for lunch. Carol is incapable of going to the ladies room on her own, and while that is generally OK with me, I am very careful about going into public restrooms like the one at the restaurant, but we managed.

¡§Dress Barn¡¨ was next, and we made their day. Carol had never shopped at Dress Barn, and she was pleasantly surprised with the selection and prices. And, for some reason this store has buy one get one free on Friday! I got¡Kare you ready¡K.10 outfits!!

Carol got 6 outfits as well. I must say being in the dressing room, stripping to our foundations and trying things on, zipping each other up, making critical comments or helpful suggestions, was just wonderful!

I had worn pantyhose, and I ran the damn things. I cannot deal with this, not even for a few minutes. No problem got a pair of Dress Barn hose and problem solved.

This is a picture of one of my closets. These are only dresses and other outifts I have yet to wear. Add 10 new outifts from Dress Barn in. Think I have a problem?

These are my pantyhose that do not fit into the dresser I have specifically for pantyhose. Now I have 9 more pairs!

And this picture shows about half of the boxes of vintage stockings I own. If I bought stockings without a box, they are in a set of drawers I have just for those stockings and stocking I have worn--now add 8 more boxes.
I would say I need help but I am having too much fun!
