Mother of the Bride Part 4

I have so many emails about my "Mother of the Bride" series that I thought I would do another one

This is a suit that I got on sale with an additonal discount from the Old Pueblo Traders catalog

I drove by the former location of Eva DeVito's. the corset shop I used to go to

I had so many fantastic Saturday mornings there

Sadie , the woman who worked there, was lovely

I always left with 4 or 5 things, sometimes more
My recaord happened twice, once when I decided to buy all the Smoothies she had in my size, and once when she called and told me she was closing...21 girldes, all-in-one's and longlines!

And Sadie,who acted as though coming in to see how much an all-in-one needed to be altered on me was the most natural thing in the world

It was Sadie who asked if I wanted breast forms, and helped me get a perfect fit, and gave me a great prices to boot

I wanted the very best available, usually $700, she charged me $400

I have hundreds of vintage slips, but this is not one of them. It's from the "Silouettes" catalog, and I bought it because it was so long, great for my longer dresses and outfits

I have often mentioned how good some outfits feel when they are on, and this was one of them

I am not sure that these were the right shoes but I wore them anyway

In case you are wondering my nails and lipstick are an excat match--I bought them together

I don't often match my lips and nails

The diaper emails are adding up too--please stop! I won't be doing it again soon and I don't need any suggestions
