The Burning for Love

I burn in Silence
in the deepest valleys of my heart
For a little soothing sparkle
From the beating of another.

A few drops of rain
in this dry fields of wheat;
A small gust of wind
and the grains dance in joy;
The embrace of the sea
to the shores of white sand,
And the dolphins will fly
With splashes of ecstasy.

I will caress your delicate petals
with the lightness of a feather;
Shine the rays of happiness
on your soft leaves;
And shower you everyday
with life-giving water.

Oh how I long,
for that unfelt touch.
