The King.

When the night is still
Star’s in the sky afill
The moon big and round
Lights the hunting ground

Listen to the roar
As the King of beast’s
Hunts for his feast

Lady’s take his request
And hunt the quest
Tall and proud he stands
Watching over lady and land

Prey caught
To him brought
Feast for the King
Around him  a ring
They let him begin
Eat first our King

He has his fill
Standing tall and still
Now he must guard
His lady’s as they eat

The night sky softly lightens
The darkness slowly brightens
Peace returns to an African land.

HOME.
