Perú.: Once beated the Spanish Army in Chile, San Martín embarked his army to liberate Perú, the funds for this expedition were provided by Buenos Aires and Chile, 500.000 and 300.000 pesos respectively. The army had soldiers from all the provinces and Chile. By winning in Perú San Martín forced Spaniards to stop hitting Argentine north western border. The independence war was then completed by Bolíivar, who took the command of San Martín army. Only a small part of the soldiers made the complete liberating run, which started in Mendoza and ended in Ayacucho, taking seven years.
