A word of warning before we start...

We will first develop the definition of Occultism in order to then pinpoint books that might present some interest to us.  For this reason, I have provided translations of French books that might be of some interest.

I must warn you that just by accessing this web page, on a subject that may rightfully be classified ‘delicate’, you have been flagged in some very high places.  I believe this to be perfectly understandable, for I also hunt down fanatism and stupidity.

Since I only collect, gather and translate information on this field much like one may do so on any other subject, I hope not to cause any problems.  I have also, as a careful citizen censured myself.  Any information on pornography, racism, anti-Semitism, sexism I may have came across, I will keep to myself.  For I truly believe that Information is a weapon and must thus be handled carefully.

Can occultists be trusted when they write ?

I believe nothing of interest has been printed in the occult in the last century.  Great minds have long gone and plunged into modern science.  We can only feel jealous.  Normally scientists, like occultists should refrain from analysis and just state facts.  Both have said the stupidest and the brightest of things.  When Newton saw spots on the surface of the Moon, he believed them to be lakes.  Einstein said that Quantum physics was a fantasy of the mind.  But when an Occultist says something stupid, it is inexcusable, that is caused by a war between scientists and occultists.

Books on occultism, like any book, contain both important information and trash.  The ratio of good over bad might be less in the occult, I will grant you that.  But in a global point of view, over the past century we have moved back 2000 years in the analysis of the human mind and it’s interaction with the environment.

Let me just point out the following :

Every 20 years, scientists find subdivisions in matter but continue to state that they have found "the ultimate" building bloc. Humans in Africa multiply from 2 to millions in one century and yet, scientists insist on their theory of human evolution where we spent milleniums being 200 on this globe. One of the planets (Venus) counter-rotates, but that does not seem to bother anyone. Darwin's evolution theory implies that no information is stored in our genetic material and that any civilized species no longer evolves.

Two types of Occultism books coexist, official and unofficial.  A document relating demons may seem « unofficial » but will be with some research « official ».  The Catholic Church created « demons » trough Dante’s Divine comedy so it would position itself against the forces of evil.  Promoting the black, may sometimes serve your cause.  Very, very, very few unofficial documents have traveled time, most are Codices and are not to be found in libraries and museums.

Today’s occultism books are directed at low intellect rockers that rebelled against authority.  This has nothing to do with real occultism.  Today, intelligent people now keep to themselves, for the risk of misinterpretation is too great.  This is why I have taken extra precautions with this site.
