The sound quality is not perfect, but the talent of the band is to keep the interest, staying catchy without having a mega-powerful sound. 7 songs of ultra-brutal gory brutal death metal with vocals between gurgles and growls, quite sick. Nice drumming with tons of blasts, a few slow parts, but mostly very fast rythms, guitars often sound catchy/thrashy but do not have a sound clear enough. Songs have worked and interesting structures, They remind me of mexican Disgorge, Vomit Remnants, swedish Deranged, Suffocation and Deeds Of Flesh. If you like these bands and wanna support this kind of sick brutal death metal. Try to get something from Morbifik. # After their MCEP '98 gained lots of good reviews from mags/zines/radios/labels/etc worldwide, MORBIFIK is now back on the business. Is "Gradually..." as great as "Now I'm Bleed" MCEP '98 ? One thing for sure, MORBIFIK is not slowing down, not a single second in any of the 15 tracks of this 30 + minutes tape which again released by Aluzza Prod. Brutal death/grind is what they played and they succeeded indelivering what death/grind music should sound : heavy growling, hyper speed drumming, chugging guitars, etc. So intense ! Sound-wise, it is much better than the EP but I'm little bit dissappointed with the artwork cover. I was hoping for another sick and gory cover from this guys. What the fuck, music is much important, right ? Those who like Brutal Truth, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Carcass, etc might like it. As for me, I will listen for one more time before I stop.
