October

The leaves of autumn
Seem to turn...
....My thoughts to yesterday.
Nostalgia fills my heart and mind
with memories far away.
Cozy little wayside places ~
Quiet tunes ~
Gentle faces ~
Then October goes ~
Leaving traces of loving thoughts
My heart embraces.
