Enlarged x 10

17Only one specimen was found despite extensive searching. Appears very superficially like a rough surfaced version of the Pigmy Turrisitala (No 16). The surface is strongly ribbed; the upper whorls more compact; the last whorl expanded at an angle, strongly descending; the umbilicus narrow and deep. The aperture appeared to contain toothing but was difficult to examine properly because of fine silt of some sort.
