These are outstanding types out of scores found at Little Bay, Toowoon Bay area.

10a. The sinistral shell to the left (II) is distinguished from the usual Central Coast type because it is almost translucent; the aperture is more placed to the left, unlike the others which are more centred. The teeth are distinctly different with the large columellar tooth, the tiny double tooth (though may be immature) and only one tooth along the base of the aperture. This shell is allied to the dextral shells found in the population (III), the arrangement of the teeth being a mirror image.

The dextral shell 10a (III) has the same tooth distribution as 10a (II) but in mirror image. The shell is distinctly smaller, the 4 whorls are more rounded. The development of the aperture indicates that it is a mature specimen despite the smallness of the shell.

10b. Shows the more usual form of the teeth for Pupa found in the area as a comparison.
