Hey there, this is the new and improved homepage for Phillip Smithson aka PolarBear. Oh, by the way that's me :)

My name is Phillip Andrew Scott Smithson, if you like you can call me Phil. I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. I'm 22 years old and my birthday is March 23. I'm about 5'8 on a good day. If you want to see what I look like {gulp} check out my pictures page.
Even though I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba I grew up in the Northwest Territories (aka NWT). The NWT is in northern Canada, and that's probably where I got my nickname PolarBear. And after 20 years of living next door to Santa I think that I can be considered a polar bear. The town where I grew up is Inuvik NWT. I now live about 22 miles south of Edmonton, Alberta in the city of Leduc.
I've had the pleasure of attending several post secondary institutions, including Red Deer College and Grant MacEwan Community College. Someday I'll have to come back to this page to go into more detail about my school history and the amount of time spent in the campus pub.
Since starting college I think that the one thing that has hampered me from getting straight A's is the fact that I started playing on the talkers. In fact I think that during my first year of college I spent more time on the talkers than I did in class. My favorite talkers would have to be Dreamscape! and The Zoo, I've met alot of cool people on these talkers, I recommend you check them out! I've also found a couple of other talkers that I am glad to call home they are SnowCrash, and Dusk Till Dawn (aka Twilight Zone). I hope to have addresses for these homepages soon!
