| One evening,I found myself feeling so lost and so alone.I drove myself out to the beach.It is a place I go at times just to get away from everything.I sat there looking out to the sea,listening to the waves and just enjoying the peace the ocean had to offer me at that point.I closed my eyes and said a little prayer,and then just sat there thinking.Suddenly I heard a great roaring coming from the waters.I wasn't sure if it was thunder or what exactly it was.I was a bit frightened yet felt at peace as well.Soon the roaring noice was right next to me,all I could see was a great cloud,which made me feel so good inside.I then suddenly realized,It was Jesus,again I was frightened but still at ease too.I felt a warmth I had not ever felt before,and just looked.I heard this roaring voice say to me,"My child,why do you sit alone and worry yourself of the things in this world,do you not know that I gave myself to the world so you would not have to worry"."I saw you sitting here and I heard your cry".At that I looked to the voice I heard and I replied,My Lord,I look at this place and it is so beautiful to me,yet each and every day we here on this earth take things so much for granted.We forgot to look ,we forgot to believe.I often wish there was something I could do to let everyone know just how very lucky and loved we are to be able to live in such a beautiful place. |
