Y2K
what is it? It's a bug that is supposed to disable computers that have
calendars that don't go past the year 2000. Computers are supposed to get
confused and shut down. Now was this blown out of proportion? The answer
is yes but the real question is why was this made a bigger issue than it
was. It's believed by former government armed forces employees that the
government used tax payers money to launch a campaign to get the Y2K bug
known to everyone. The message going around was that Y2K was going to shut
all electric devices down someone had to make the false definition up.
Why would the government make something like that up you ask. Well it's
quite simple they spread word that the whole world is going down the toilet
on new years. So everyone goes into a panic running around and buy supplies.
And what better supplies to pick up than very expensive, very popular,
very available military surplus items. The government sells none active
used military surplus items to the normal civilian. So when everyone herd
that all hell was going break loose they run out and buy all the supplies
they can think of and over half were owned by the U.S. government. I bet
people feel stupid for buying all that crap now. four words "Tricks are
