In 1994 a movie
hit the box office based from a hit novel written by Ann Rice. The box
office hit stared Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Christain Slater,
Kirsten Dunst. This very great and well acted movie scored high reviews
USA today gave it four stars. New your times gave it two thumbs up. As
a fan of this film I can tell you I wont forget it, one of the best films
I've seen. But did everyone like this film? Ann Rice (the screen play writer)
says it shouldn't have ever hit the big screens. She said her novel was
misunderstood and that the movie was a completely incorrect version from
her book. She had several criticisms when she found out who was casting
the film. Ann Rice told Time magazine "I wish i had never published interview
with the vampire if I had known it was going to be mistaken for just another
vampire movie I wouldn't have". But could she be now considering a new
movie? Perhaps to get the original message that she had first intended
back on track. I've herd rumors of another movie being written by the wizard
her self Ann Rice. The screen play is to be called Lestat's Journals and
it's not a sequel it's a prequel. And the surprises just keep coming the
original cast is also supposed to play this trilling roll. Tom Cruise will
be returning as Lestat, Brad Pitt will be returning as Louie but sad to
say won't show up till around the end. The evil Antonio Banderas is back
as well! The predicted date for this move to be released in theaters was
I believe 2002. I don't even need to see it to know it's going to be four
stars.
