Crius

Crius was one of the original 12 Titans, a son of uranus and Gaea. Crius may have represented the powers of the sea, as his grandchildren were the four winds. The River of Achaia, the river at the foot of mt. Sipylus and others were named for Crius.

Crius married the Titan Eurbia, with whom he fathered Astraios, who married Eos and had Zephyros (West Wind), Boreas (North Wind), Notos (South Wind) and Eosphorus/Eurus (East Wind) as well as the stars, Perses, and Pallas who married Styx and begat Zelos, Nike, Kratos and Bia.
