Surfside Training Groups

Swimmers at Surfside are assigned to one of four training groups. Assignment is based on the individual swimmer's demonstrated skill, maturity, and dedication. While these groups are not specifically age delimited, younger swimmers do tend to move into the beginning practice groups while older swimmers tend to train in the more advanced groups. These groups are:

C Group--Beginning level swimmers with little or no prior competitive swim training.

B Group--Swimmers with some competitive swim training.

A Group--Swimmers with more competitive swim training.
