SHEEP

The mighty JOSIAH as a bottle baby

(notice the gut on this guy!)

BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE BELOW

We've been raising sheep for over 10 years. We've named the ones we don't sell: Josiah, Linda, Holly, Ivy, Joyce to name a few. Larry just loves getting up at dawn in the winter to feed them. They ALWAYS pick the coldest, snowiest night of the year to deliver. If we're lucky, the momas forget to bond with them or have no milk. Then, we handfeed the tiny, bleeting woolies every few hours. By this time we've lost so much sleep, and invested so many emotions, we JUST CAN'T sell the lambs!

Susan holds tiny, pre-mature JOSIAH just after birth. He died FOUR times on us!

Now JOSIAH is the FATHER of our flock!
