The latest version of prolok (0.8.0) is now available with an english and dutch user interface at http://tt.borrmanns.de/prolok.html.
The dutch translation is by Willem Smith. The manual and the help files are not translated (volunteers?). To get the language version of your choice perform the following steps:
Also:
In the prolok zipfile exists another file, rp922-lang.txt, its content is the configuration variable description from NMRA/RP9.2.2 in english.
If you wish to have the english cv description instead of the resident german ones::
Tom will try to make this procedure more convenient later.
To make your own language version is pretty simple: open the files with a text editor (i.e. notepad) and translate the part of the line at the right side of the equal sign. Don't change the text at the left side and inside the square braces Be careful with the texts that includes ampersand signs, which defines the shortcut keys (i.e, &Files defines the Alt-F key as a shortcut to the option 'Files', S&peed Table defines Alt-P as a shortcut to 'speed table' a.s.o).
You may have less ampersands (and hotkeys) than the given file, but not more. Each shortcut must be unique, if not, one of the options is not accessible via shortcut keys. Save the language resource file as <language>.lng (change <language> to a name, which best describes the intention, i.e. suaheli ;-) ) in the same dir as prolok.exe resides, and the cv description file to ./daten/nmra/rp922.txt.
