Georgia Pecan Pie

2 cups dark Karo syrup
6 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons butter 2
cups pecan halves
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine Karo, butter and salt, bring to a boil. Beat eggs, vanilla, and
pecans (just enough to mix well). Add to hot mixture and pour into unbaked
pastry shells.

Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees and turn oven to 300
degrees and continue to bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and serve.
Makes 2 pies.
