Digital Dish Diva says: Lance, welcome to MSN Live! We have had fans here since 7am this morning! We're happy you're here!
Lance Bass says: Hi to everybody!
Digital Dish Diva says: Lance, let's talk about the *NSYNC MSN Internet Access!
Lance Bass says: I'm very excited about the new MSN ISP we created for NSYNC because it will get us closer to our fans. We're going to have a lot of fun with it and it will help us communicate a lot simpler.
Digital Dish Diva says: We have about 10,000 audience questions for you so let's get started!
Digital Dish Diva says: NSYNC247 Says: How does it feel to be part of such a popular, loved and amazing group?
Lance Bass says: It's just an amazing feeling. I've always dreamed of what we're doing now, but I'd never dreamed it would be as big as it is now. It's been crazy, a wild ride.
Digital Dish Diva says: happyfeet says: You travel so much. Is the Internet important to you? Do you go online!
Lance Bass says: Yes, the Internet is very important to us. I have a computer that goes on the road with me and I also have one set up that I go on every day. Now with the new ISP it will be easier for me to get on and talk to people every day.
Digital Dish Diva says: pacey says: How was the NSYNC/MSN launch party at Planet Hollywood?
Lance Bass says: It was great! Got kind of crowded and had to leave before we wanted to. That's another thing we're really excited about, being involved in Planet Hollywood, we're excited to be part of the family.
Digital Dish Diva says: lindsayanna22 Says: Hi Lance! What is going on with your business ventures recently?
Lance Bass says: Hi! I've had a few business ventures I've been a part of lately. I've just started Happy Place, a film production company and I'll be in "On the Line."
Digital Dish Diva says: You can learn more about Lance's company at http://www.freelanceent.com/
Lance Bass says: Freelance just signed another artist Angela Via, so look for that album too.
Digital Dish Diva says: ANNMARIE Asks: Can you give us a hint that prove it's really you?
Lance Bass says: (laughs) Wow, I don't really know what you want me to say. I guess the only way I can prove it is that I'm on the MSN chat, it has to be real. MSN is our new home.
Digital Dish Diva says: AnnaK_4 Asks: Does all the popularity and public scrutiny become overwhelming?
Lance Bass says: It's very overwhelming at times. Along with the good things comes the bad things. Privacy is gone, and everyone is trying to say or catch you doing something negative. So we're always on the look out, but we knew what we had to give up and nothing is going to discourage us from doing what we want to do.
Digital Dish Diva says: ibluvnnsync Says: Hey Lance! When is NSYNC's next CD coming out? And when do you'll plan to tour again! I love you guys!
Lance Bass says: We're writing and recording in February and it will be out in May and we'll start our tour the last week in May.
Digital Dish Diva says: AlertedSweetie says: How is the movie "Grease 3" coming along? Is Britney Spears in it as well?
Lance Bass says: "Grease 3" is still up in the air. It's something we definitely want to do, we're just trying to make it possible. If it all works out, we'd love to do it.
Digital Dish Diva says: Scruffy says: Do you ever get nervous when you go onstage?
Lance Bass says: Not anymore. I just have so much fun that I get more excited than I do nervous.
Digital Dish Diva says: kitty_748 Says: Hi Lance. I really like you. Do you like being on tour all the time and are you ever home sick?
Lance Bass says: All the time. I'm really close to my family and friends back home and I miss them a lot. But they get to come out on the road and visit me, so that's fun.
Digital Dish Diva says: latnagrl28 says: Since you are not touring during Christmas is there any other plans made?
Lance Bass says: I am actually going home to Mississippi and spending it with my family. Right after Christmas I'm throwing a New Year's party at Roseland in New York. We haven't booked the talent yet, but I'm thinking it will be like Sisqo and Pink. And everyone is invited!
Digital Dish Diva says: Is it open to the fans? How do they find out more about it?
Lance Bass says: You can listen to Z100 in New York.
Digital Dish Diva says: sarahsmile says: Favorite venue?
Lance Bass says: I think the Rose Bowl was great in California, it was so huge. I love Madison Square Garden, it's such an historical venue. I also like Detroit's Silver Dome. It's such a beautiful place.
Digital Dish Diva says: CHIPPER_01 Says: Hey Lance What's up? Do you plan on appearing on "7th Heaven" again?
Lance Bass says: I don't know, I've been meeting with a lot of people and would love to do another sitcom sometime next year. I'd love to be on "Will & Grace," "Friends," or "7th Heaven."
Digital Dish Diva says: jrtgrly621 Says: Hey Lance! You guys rock! How was it meeting Michael Jackson last night?
Lance Bass says: It was a dream come true. He's probably one of the nicest guys I've met. He's a very interesting guy and a musical genius. He had some really nice things to say, and I'm really interested in working with him on something. So maybe there will be a collaboration in the future.
Digital Dish Diva says: ÉvèrlastingGåzê Says: Lance, do you feel any emotional connections to the songs you and the rest of the boys of NSYNC?
Lance Bass says: Oh definitely! Each song means something different to me. Like "God Must Have Spent." I get so many great letters from fans.
Lance Bass says: And "I Promise You" is like a really great wedding song now, which is really cool.
Digital Dish Diva says: babyblue says: Hi Lance, I love you! Since you are backstage now, I was wondering how you prepare to go onstage?
Lance Bass says: We just finished sound check and we're about to do a meet-n-greet with our fans. Then we'll chill out and get something to eat. We also have a crew party and we're preparing for that tonight. We're just going to chill out and rest before the show because it's really draining. (laughs)
Digital Dish Diva says: What do you do when you get offstage? How do you chill out?
Lance Bass says: We usually run to the bus. Our bus is usually on the road to the next city before the last song ends. (laughs) When I first get on the bus I take a shower, then chill out.
Digital Dish Diva says: nealatina0 says: Hey Lance what is one thing you can't go on tour with out?
Lance Bass says: Probably like a good book, like my Bible. Something like that. It's good to read and keeps me focused.
Digital Dish Diva says: NsyncPrinzess Says: Hi Lance! I love you! What is your fave song on "No Strings Attached?"
Lance Bass says: My favorite song is "It Makes Me Ill" because I like the beat and it's fun to listen to.
Digital Dish Diva says: blue_jello_4 Says: Lance! What's your favorite part of the No Strings Attached concert? Cool effects!
Lance Bass says: I think my favorite part, there are two things I like--the treadmill we have on stage and the lasers.
Digital Dish Diva says: Another favorite. . .Nsynclover16 Says: Hi What is your fav thing to do when you go home?
Lance Bass says: I usually invite all my friends over and we just hang for the whole day and watch movies, go swimming. We just throw a big party when I come home.
Digital Dish Diva says: freakytiki18 Says: Where and what are the other guys doing right now?
Lance Bass says: Some of them are in here. Some are next door in the dressing room. I think Joey is playing drums. I can hear him. Chris is playing video games and Justin is taking a nap.
Digital Dish Diva says: breeztheway Says: What was the coolest thing a fan has done to see you?
Lance Bass says: They do different things. Like every time we come into a city they'll have all these contests on the radio. I know the most outrageous things were fans eating slugs, sitting in a dumpster for 3 days, sitting in a sink for 3 days, a guy shaved his head to get tickets. There's all kinds of stuff like that. They'll do anything. (laughs)
Digital Dish Diva says: ilovelance says: I think you are the best. Who do you think is the best?
Lance Bass says: I don't know, I guess my mom.
Digital Dish Diva says: sophmama20 says: What is your fave way to spend Christmas?
Lance Bass says: Basically it's the same very year. The tradition is we always open on gift on Christmas Eve. It's weird because my sister and I have our own homes, I still wake up early on Christmas morning. I go downstairs and drink hot chocolate. My family will come over for Christmas and we'll cook and open presents and have a nice time.
Digital Dish Diva says: So I have to ask you. . are you cooking this year?
Lance Bass says: No. (laughs) My grandmother and mother like to cook, so I'm going to let them do it.
Digital Dish Diva says: Since you DO cook, do you have a specialty?
Lance Bass says: I like to Bar-B-Q.
Digital Dish Diva says: If you weren't a recording artist, what would you be?
Lance Bass says: Either an actor or an astronaut. Anything with an "A" (laugh) Anteater. Gotta think of another A word. (laughs)
Digital Dish Diva says: sporty_girl02 Says: What is one thing you would change about life on the road?
Lance Bass says: If I could change anything? (laughs) It would be to come home every night. Not stay in hotels. We need to create this time change thing like "Star Trek." (laughs)
Digital Dish Diva says: LanceRules says: Why is your nickname Scoop?
Lance Bass says: I guess the guys call me Scoop because I know what's going on all the time with schedule, where we'll be, I'm the person to be en point.
Digital Dish Diva says: So, you're the organized one then?
    Lance Bass says: Yes.
Digital Dish Diva says: meeshel2 Asks: Who is your best friend?
Lance Bass says: The other 4 guys are definitely my best friends. I have several other friends back home, friends are my life. For the past 11 years I've had the same best friends back home, Keri and Darren. They usually come on the road with me and it's great!
Lance Bass says: Keri was the one that was on the video awards with me, everyone asks me that.
Digital Dish Diva says: >lucyluvr01 Says: Lance what's the whole story behind "PooFoo"?
Lance Bass says: That's a character I would do years ago, I would dress up like a Dalmatian dog. The kids would be in the book, people would come and take pictures. There's a book, and PooFoo would sing.
Digital Dish Diva says: Any future for PooFoo? (laughs)
Lance Bass says: Maybe they should bring him back because everyone likes him so much, he could be the next Barney.
Digital Dish Diva says: sasha says: Of all the places you have been to, what is your favorite?
Lance Bass says: There's a place call Liechtenstein. It's just a beautiful country. It's ruled by a prince and it's got mountains and rivers. It's so great!
Digital Dish Diva says: i_love_you_lance Asks: Hi Lance! As a Baptist, I am grounded in my faith. What keeps you grounded? Thanks, Erica.
Lance Bass says: What keeps me grounded is my faith. The guys have similar faith as me, which is great, when you surround yourself with good people. My family is good Christian people and I try to go to church as often as I can. It just makes me feel like a better person.
Digital Dish Diva says: Hawaiiborn says: Hi Lance! When you look out at the audience, what do you see?
Lance Bass says: I just see happy people. It's so weird, when I look out into the audience. I just stop and look at people having the time of their life. It just makes me feel so good.
Lance Bass says: It makes me realize what I'm doing is for.
Lance Bass says: I could be having a bad day and see that one person and it just makes me feel so good.
Digital Dish Diva says: Sign up with *NSYNC at MSN Internet access and get exclusive e-newsletters, photos and videos from your favorite group at http://essentials.msn.com/access/nsync.asp
Digital Dish Diva says: Hyuk_You says: When you were young, what was your dream?
Lance Bass says: My dream when I was young was to be an astronaut. I was fascinated with space and wanted to do something with NASA.
Digital Dish Diva says: Is it true you took a test at NASA?
Lance Bass says: I went to space camp and was part of the program there and it was a lot of fun. I would love to go back and do that again. I met a lot of great people that I still keep in touch with and they are living out their dreams to be an astronaut.
Digital Dish Diva says: You just might be the first recording artist in space!
Lance Bass says: I would LOVE that!
Digital Dish Diva says: Cerissa Says: Did you take singing lessons with a vocal coach before you became famous?
Lance Bass says: Not really. I knew a vocal coach that my friend Darren knew. We formed a group, back in the day, and he would come in and teach us the songs we would sing at fairs. That's actually how I met Justin, I had the same vocal coach as Justin.
Digital Dish Diva says: Lance a lot fans ask how to get in touch with you. How can they do that?
Lance Bass says: The best way, we're about to have our own fan e-mail addresses for the MSN ISP, which will be great. I have my own e-mail that I get about 1,000 a day, and it's hard to get to them all, but I try. With the new ISP it will be easier.
Digital Dish Diva says: ProudDem Says: What is the most exciting thing that you have done that you probably would not of had the opportunity if you were not famous?
Lance Bass says: I think the most exciting thing I can do is do good things for the world. The charity stuff we get to do and the influence we get to bring to people, something I couldn't do if I wasn't in the position I'm in. Just try and touch as many people and do good in the world.
Digital Dish Diva says: Lance, I know you're about to go onstage soon. Thanks for stopping by! We're all excited about the new NSYNC MSN ISP!
Lance Bass says: Thank you very much for your continuous support. You're the most amazing fans and we appreciate it so much! We'll be there as long as you are!
Lance Bass says: We start touring and we'll put out another great album for you!
