My car went 13.50 with a chip and fuel pump. It still had one wheel peel! I have since added posi, injectors, alcohol injection, sticky tires, and a new chip with more boost. Hoping to run 12.70's. All with no intercooler! G-body cars are the best and sup
ise Corvettes when all they can see is your taillights.Screw 5.0's bring on the Vipers on straight-aways anyways (not for long).

Liked your site. Am impressed by you and your brothers handy work. I too live on the soggy salty side of Canada. I had a one of those 78 Cutlass's with the funny back no one likes. I scapped it when the back axle decided that it should help me turn when I
went around a corner. It wasn't much more that a moving pile of rust by that time, but it moved, no mater how cold it got, or what ever, it seemed un stopable. I also had a 80 Malibu. It was a wreak when I got it. It was my winter car. I had a precious mo
ified Rabbit. It out lasted the Rabbit, all but the rear frame which was long gone. I found away to atach the bumper with a bracket bolted onto the body and the bumper. One April fools day some fool ran into it and the back of the car turned into crumbs o
rust and body filler sprinkled with little red flakes of tail light. The guy in his Honda civic backed up and got away.
The Malibu I have now I've had 7 years. It was an almost rust free car, that had only been up from the states three years. the Body still looks good but the bumper's beginning to hang. I decided to replace the frame and now have a freshly painted, rebuil
, 87 Monty Carlo ls frame. It has a f41 option with polyurithan end links, sway bar brushings, table plate brushings, body mounts, and boxed trailing arms.
Question: I was planing on suspending the body with 2x4s and cinder blocks, but people tell me c.blocks are not safe. How did you raise your G P to do the frame work? I don't have the video card to tell from your picture.
Elliot

I love it!!! I have owned 2 '81 GPs and am currently driving my '82 GP which I plan to swap in a 327 with a 700r4, upgrade the suspension, and the works. It is not very often that I run into others that appreciate these cars. I am currently on the look
out for a '2+2' header panel. I was wondering if you knew if the stock rear end gear ratio was for nineth generation GPs? Or do you know where I may get this info?

Hello There
I could not believe my own eyes when I saw your web site
My Grand Prix is very similar to yours I bought the car approximately 2 years ago and the car has become my pride and joy. The car is asleep with its blanket in the garage as I live in Toronto and the salt does not help in the restoration of the vehicle.
n less than a month the car will be getting a rebuilt 350 for some more fum and excitement
The other thing I should let you know is that my prior car was a 1980 Monte Carlo which was my first car. I used to say it was me and my mc now I say me and my gp.
