Rider Enrichment

Wayne Stewart, E-Wing News Rider Enrichment Coordinator has been riding motorcycles for over 26 years. He has been riding a Gold Wing for the last 6 years and has been a GWRRA member as long as he has owned a Wing. He spent almost 3 years as a Chapter Educator. Wayne rides year round (weather permitting) and puts about 9,000 miles a year riding back and forth to work. Being strong supporters of motorcycle safety, we felt that with Wayne's knowledge and devotion to Rider Education you can look forward to excellent articles each month on motorcycle safety. If you have something that you would like to share with other wingers you can submit your article or comments for a future article to Wayne at: gwrider70@hotmailcom . Wayne welcomes your involvement toward making us safer riders.

Frequently Asked Questions

E-Wing News is a Monthly Newslettter for Wing Riders of Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan and anyone else who is interested in what's going on in the three state area and beyond. On the first of each month, E-Wing News is sent out to our friends who share the same interest in riding Wings and having fun. The newsletter is composed of :

  • Special Events

  • Rider Enrichment Articles

  • Stories and Adventures of other Wingers

  • Motorcycle related Wanted and For Sale items

  • Other topics of interest

Everything is sent in by readers of E-Wing News along with a story or two from David & Lori from time to time.

How do I subscribe?

Just send your e-mail address to EWingNews@hotmail.com with the words SUBSCRIBE in the subject line and if you would like to write us a little note also that's ok. We would enjoy hearing from you. Your e-mail address will be kept confidental and not distributed to other sources.

Why are there two versions?

Every month a text and html version of the newsletter is sent out. If you can view html with your e-mail program, please be sure to check out the html version. The html version will either appear in your e-mail program window or you may recieve it as an attachment. Just double click on the file to see the full color version of the newsletter. The articles are the same but with a little more color and graphics. We will continue to send the text version for those of you who are unable to view the html version.

Why does the text version sometimes appear broken up?

Due to all the different e-mail programs, paragraphs in the newsletter may look broken up. Every attempt is made to make this newsletter as neat looking as possible, but unfortunately the format in which it is displayed on your e-mail program is out of our control.

What kind of events can I send in?

We would be happy to post any Special Events that your chapter is sponsoring in Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio.

Example:

  • Mall Shows

  • Toy Rides

  • Chapter Fund Raisers

  • Campouts

  • Road Rallies

  • Special Chapter Rides

  • Auctions

  • Cruise-Ins

  • Any other special event.

If you are not sure just send it to EWingNews@hotmail.com . The only thing that we ask is that your event must include a contact person, the sponsoring chapter, and an e-mail address and/or phone number so anyone wanting more information can get in touch with you.

What kind of items can I post For Sale?

Anything motorcycle related can be posted in the For Sale Section.

  • Include your name

  • E-mail address

  • Telephone number

E-Wing News is not responsible for items listed For Sale. This is done as a convenience for the readers of E-Wing News monthly newsletter.
Send all For Sale and Wanted items to Dave & Loree Dulin, Project Editors at
Dulinwing@hotmail.com

GWRRA Webpages

Does your Chapter have a Webpage yet?

Joann Wortz will create FREE web sites for GWRRA chapters. Thus far, Joann has created sites for Michigan Chapters C, Q2, R-2, V just to name a few. Joann's site is http://members.tripod.com/jwortz

Joann explains, "I am trying to make it possible for every chapter who wants a site to have one free of charge, including updating. I will also teach a chapter member to do the updating for them if they prefer. This offer is open to ALL GWRRA chapters" .
