Why does the text version sometimes appear broken up?

Due to all the different e-mail programs, paragraphs in the newsletter may look broken up. Every attempt is made to make this newsletter as neat looking as possible, but unfortunately the format in which it is displayed on your e-mail program is out of our control.

Will my E-Mail Address be given out to other sources?

All E-Mail addresses are kept confidental and WILL NOT be given to other sources.

When sending in events an e-mail address is always useful so others can contact you for additional information. If you do not want to give out your "home" e-mail address, there are many places on the internet where you can set up a free e-mail account.

E-Wing News was started out of our desire to get involved more with what was going on in GWRRA Chapters around the Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio area. What first started as a newsletter to 77 people quickly grew to over 1,000 readers in just 7 months. E-Wing News is a free newsletter by Wing Riders for Wing Riders. We WELCOME your Stories, Pictures, Chapter Events, and anything else you would like to share. If you have questions be sure and check out our Frequently Asked Question page for more information.

Dave Dulin, Project Editor, Began riding motorcycles at the age of 13, on a friend's 350 Honda Scrambler. Burned alot pants and legs riding that one. Rode several different brands and sizes of motorcycles including motorcross and enduro types, while stationed in California and elsewhere for the first 8 years in the USAF. Took a short break from riding (12 years) until the fall of 1996, when I purchased a 1981 GL1100 Aspencade. thought I had died and gone to heaven. In 1997, purchased a 1985 GL1200 Aspencade, and that was one sweet bike. In 1998, I purchased a Teal SE, and plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off, or they come out with a new wing in the same color. Enjoy Rallies, buying motorcycle goodies, and camping. Coach High School Football and work for Airborne Express.

Dave handles For Sale and Wanted items listing along with writing stories of interest from time to time. So if you have anything For Sale, send it to Dave at dulinwing@hotmail.com . He will be glad to hear from you!

Wayne Stewart, E-Wing News Rider Enrichment Coordinator has been riding motorcycles for over 26 years. He has been riding a Gold Wing for the last 6 years and has been a GWRRA member as long as he has owned a Wing. He spent almost 3 years as a Chapter Educator. Wayne rides year round (weather permitting) and puts about 9,000 miles a year riding back and forth to work. Being strong supporters of motorcycle safety, we felt that with Wayne's knowledge and devotion to Rider Education you can look forward to excellent articles each month on motorcycle safety. If you have something that you would like to share with other wingers you can submit your article or comments for a future article to Wayne at: gwrider70@hotmailcom . Wayne welcomes your involvement toward making us safer riders.

J.Phil Windle, I first starting riding at 9 years old on a "WHIZZER" (maybe some of you remember?) which was a motroizing kit for a bicycle. A friend and I "souped" it up and took it out for a "run". Managed to get 68 mi/hr out of it. Thought it was going to fall/shake apart. Not too smart, I think (now). Then I moved UP to a "Cushman Scooter" WOW. Then next was a "Powell".

Anyway......in the intervening 54 years I have all kinds.....Indians, Harleys, Aerial square four ( a popular "police bike" at the time), AJS, Triumph, BMW, Hondas, etc. etc. I now have a Honda GL1500......The best bike I have ever owned!!!!!!

I joined GWRRA in 1988 (061728) and when our GWRRA chapter (Texas "1"Chapter "X") was organized in 1989 I started writing the TechTopic articles
for our news letter.
