These are some pics I have while restoring.......
I had to replace the radiator support
and bushings. The support wasn't connected to the frame. It was rusted right below the battery tray, typical.
I moved the battery to the trunk.....
I was finishing up some loose stuff after putting the engine back in. No spark wires yet. This is by far the coolest part.....
After stripping the floor and brushing on a thick layer of rustoleum, I laid the carpet.
It's not the original color, but it's not the original carpet either, right? I figured black would look good always, where the light blue would get dirty quick. I drive it whenever the roads are dry.

I added a shifter and some new wheels! Lov'in it......... I spent
10 hrs. on the shifter. 4 to install the shifter and cable, nearly
6 to work the trans shit and adjust cable which was a bitch. Because I have a "Powerglide" trans there was some mods done internally, but not to bad?!.... I used a "B&M Pro Ratchet
This was taken right after the shifter and cable where in. The cover ain't on the shifter yet..
Right after the wheels where put on!! Big difference.
