C hief Wiggummm can only be described in one way.He's fat, he's stupid, he's corrupt and he has a bad temper. Chief Wiggum is certainly the kind of police officer you would expect to be running Springfield.
A n unqualified man who started off as a security guard for the daunting Monty Burns is Springfield's prime law enforcer.

His arch-nemisis is Mayor Quimby (even more corrupt). The pair constantly fight over power. Take the example of the monorail episode in which a badly constructed monorail goes out of control. The two power's confront each other as to who is in charge of such a situation and end up at the town hall discussing how many pigs they get a month.

R alph Wiggum, the police chief's son provides good episode material too. Just take the espisode when he falls in love with Lisa. Ralph get's a Valentine's card from Lisa because she feel's sorry for him. The result's are hilarious as Ralph tries to catch Lisa's eye. Unfortunately for Ralph he asks all the wrong questions. Take the time when Ralph asked Lisa "So, do you like stuff?" for example. After Ralph is predictably dumped by Lisa, Chief Wiggum enters the show and breaks Homer's front car light. Homer realises that he is powerless against Springfield's major cop and so he ends the confrontation with this hilarious quote.
HOMER:
Y ou know, one day honest citizens are going to stand up to you crooked cops.
WIGGUM: They are! Oh no, have they, have they, set a date.
Ralph is the thickhead of Lisa's class and is patronized constanly his teacher. Like father like son I suppose.

Wiggum is in charge of a police station pull of buffoons and corruption. Marge actually joins the police force for an episode but quits due to the enormity of corruption. Wiggum does not even know basic laws. When Bart receives threatening letters from Sideshow Bob, Marge goes to the Police. But Wiggum says "I'd like to help you Maam but I'm afraid there's no law against mailing threatening letters". He is quickly corrected however. Another time Wiggum rings up Marge and tells her that homer is D.O.A (dead) and another lady called Mrs Philips that her husband is D.W.I (drunk). Wiggum got the terminology mixed up. Eventually Mrs Philips comes in to pick up her husband and confronts Wiggum. Wiggum being a coward tells her to ask another officer, his excuse? He is going out to lunch. Wiggum fits the role of Springfield's chief law enforcer perfectly, being fat, stupid and corrupt.
A nd last, I would like to say that I am not sure if I will be adding anymore chief Wiggumm wavs/jpgs because there is so much other work to be done.
