Engine Coolant and Air Charge Temperature Sensor Diognostics

This page will help you diognose your engine coolant sensor and air charge temperature sensors. They are different sensors with different purposes, but work and diognose the same. All that is necessary is to know the ambiant temperature, with the vehicle having set until cold, then look the resistances up in the chart below. Using a digital volt ohm meter, compare the resistance of the sensor with the resistance on the chart at the given temperature.
