VCOA, VSA (Volvo Sports America, the 1800 club), and the
Washington Volvo Club had their joint meet in Lake Placid, NY, on August
22-24. Following are some pictures that I took at the meet.

This 1800 convertible is not one of the original Volvoville conversions, but it has been converted using one of those as a template. It is professionally done, with a great paint job and the originalinterior reupholstered in white. | |

This is a 283SD. That is, 200 series, 8 cylinder (Chevy V8) 3-door! Obviously, it's not original. The owner did a very professional job of installing the longer 242 doors and extending the rear sidewindow. Oh, and SD is "Something Different". Sure is. | |
