Comments: hello! i am looking for some technical data concerning early holdens for the following reason- i work in electronics and have been asked by a friend who is restoring an ek holden to design a fully digital dash board for it(@ 3 digit displays) i have had no problem with the temperature display,tacho,ammeter(alternator charge/battery discharge),oil pressure etc but need some info on the speedometer gears as before its an ek ,but he's put in a trimatic?(as i said, i'm in electronis no automotive),either way, its not the original gear box what i need to find out is the gear ratio of the worm gear on the gear box mainshaft to speedo cable to give accurate indication of speed the circuit is connected to the output of the spinning speedo cable and counts the revs to determine speed based on- diff ratio rear wheel circuference and of course the revs of the speedo cable if you can provide any assistance- actual details web sites etc PLEASE EMAIL ME!!!! i WILL send you full details on how to build it yourself if you can help!!!!!!!!!!
