Oldsmobile’s 105th Historic Cars of Lansing car show, July 31st through August 5th, was held in down town Lansing, Michigan. Although the turnout was not nearly what it was for the 100th, it was still a show not to be missed. I'm lucky enough to live close to Lansing and attended three of the four show days, showing my car, drooling over others, browsing the swap meet, checking out the GM Oldsmobile display in the Lansing Center, and the Indy Pace Car display at the RE Olds Museum.

As a '68 owner, I had to drop in this fine '68 442 Convertible!
Could this be? I've never seen the likes of one and I couldn't track down the owner to verify, but the car tells me 1970 Indy pace car and the side emblems says W31?
Oldsmobile and the thousands of workers over the years built them.... and they came..... this is a real field of dreams!
The 2002 Down River Cruise turned out to be a great day. The weather cooperated and the Oldsmobile Street Rockets had an excellent turn out. We were privileged to park at Rowan Oldsmobile in Southgate, on Fort Street, along the main cruise strip. It’s been a long time since the likes of these cars have made their presence at this dealership!
