My 1980 Plymouth Volare \6 4dr
I took this car with me to the American Chrysler Nationals at
Carlisle, PA July 13-15, 2001. My 2 Barracudas could not make it as the 67
was no where near ready and the 64 had project delays. The sign I had made
(on purpose as a joke, for the FUN field) said it best:
Friday nights its 1/8 mile drag racing. Having never attending a track in my
life, I took advantage of this. I lost in the first round to a rental PT Cruiser because my floor mat got stuck but
I have pics of the other two notable cars I time trialed with.
This car is my daily driver for the next couple years as I finish my two Barracudas.
After I'm done there, This will be a Mad Max homage car, from the FIRST film.
I'm painting it the yellow, blue, and red and I'll be putting on Sport Wagon Spoilers and a Go-Wing. It'll have an EFI 360, 4spd, 8.75 rear
and maybe an underhood supercharger. Right now, I'm more concerned with keeping it safe and running...
