It was ineviatable that GMM should get a guestbook. A place where people can enter their views and intelligent and constructive comments about GMM. But It'll probably just be a load of old rubbish - but hey prove me wrong!

As an end user i guess this makes little difference to me unless prices rocket once grey importers are out of business. |

Where you live: Preston, Lancs. , England The best bit of GMM: Wunderbar! The bit of GMM that needs most improvement: don't know, first vist. | Comments: Right.... Grey bikes are ace, why should we be restricted to the types of bikes makers think are 'appropriate' for us? Most dealers back up their grey bikers with good servicing and sourcing of parts (examples; Fastline & Shorrocks in Preston). Unfortunately, while everyone else is making their bike the most gorgeous sounding and looking thing around with accesories I have make do with cleaning it on Sunday. Anyone know a site that sells accessories for 400cc CB1's (NC27)? I recomend the CB1 to anyone stuck with 33bhp for 2 years. I had to have mine restricted and it's only lost 15mph top speed and a wee bit of acceleration. Super dooper BIKE! |

And I'm sure that anyone looking for a great deal on a good bike can find one with a Grey Bike. It's too bad that the gov't of Japan doesn't help to promote this needed industry. Here in Chile as of 1/ /2000 it will be illegal to The bit of GMM that needs most improvement: When do the new owners intend to start publishing again???? I'd subscribe if there were a mag!! | Comments: This is a much needed web-site. I'd'encourage all Grey bikers to write about their bikes and post them somewhere on the net. And let's do everything possible to keep this spectrum of the biking world active and permanent. Chile is closing the door on Grey vehicles, I sure hope other countries don't follow suit. Thanks. |

Tim Ward - 04/15/99 10:35:46 My URL:http://www.technology.bolton.ac.uk My Email:tw1@bolton.ac.uk Your Bike: Bandit 250 (almost) The bike you most want: VFR750, FJ1200 Where you live: Preston The best bit of GMM: Best thing since sliced bread. If you're into sports bikes, who needs anything bigger than an RVF400? The bit of GMM that needs most improvement: Publicity? Try a press release to Grey Bike magazine. | Comments: Great idea to have this website - the size of the guestbook seems to show that noone knows about it though! Anybody out there know anything about Bandit 250s? My lad has one but it's not running right. Shows low compression (60-75psi), so we suspect stuck valves or dirty/worn rings. The engine's the same as the GSXR250. Is this a common problem? We're about to pull the top of the engine but are reluctant without documentation. Any ideas? By the way, Will, I agree with your comments about how intrusive the Geocities logos are. Still, it's free, I suppose. Cheers, Tim |
