NHIS has just been awarded a second race for the Winston Cup Series starting in 1997. This is at the expense of race fans who attended races at North Wilksboro Speedway in Nort Carolina. Another race that has been held at Wilksboro has been moved to the new Texas Motor Speedway currently under construction.

It was inevitable that TMS would get it's Winston Cup race. I congradulate all the fans that benefited from this.

I am, however, disappointed in NASCAR's handling of awarding these dates. This shows that NASCAR is just as corrupt as all other major league sports.

Bruton Smith and Bob Bahre bought North Wilksboro for one purpose and on purpose only...for the Winston Cup race dates. This is capitalism. No harm done. The corruption is that NASCAR let them have them!

In my opinion, NHIS is'n fit to run gokarts. With the new Superspeedways being built, and so many other fantastic tracks wanting desperately to hold WC races, what justification does NASCAR have to award NHIS a second WC race? Greed

If you though NASCAR racing was a good clean sport, think again.

If you still feel you just have to see it click here else boycot NHIS and go back
