About Vetteracer

hmmmm where to start..... well I was born about 29 years ago in the real MotorCity, Detroit, MI. My first car ride home was in a red 63 spiltwindow coupe of which my dad still proudly owns. I am a child of the auto age, my dad works for Ford and my mom worked for many years at GM. Have had my share of strikes, layoffs, recessions.

I spent 1976-1982 racing quarter midgets every weekend all over the midwest. Thats where I got the racing bug. We did quite well and I can say that I raced with now well known drivers like Andy Hillenburg, Robby Stanely, and can even remember hearing about some hotshot young kid named Jeff Gordon who was tearing up the tracks out west.... quarter midgets

My thrist for speed was quenched when on 8/31/82 I brought home the monster.... a 68 coupe in pieces, stripped, stolen, and in boxes!! Kept me outta trouble throughout high school. Unless you consider a nicely built 427 trouble.. Then I did the usual, went to college, drag raced and autocrossed in the summers. Married my fantastic bride when I was 20 and she took rookie of the year the next year. She is very understanding and I love her today as much as I did when we were married. (9 years ago!) To pay for my toys I own an Animation Shop, you can visit my shop at:

Travelling Pictures Animation Co.

The '68 is now the drag car at the top of the page, and my driver is the blue 65. We call him "little blue". (don't let the name fool ya.) Little blue will be getting a full body off resto this fall. Hopefully in a year little blue will be better than new.

Lately I have been also racing 10th scale RC cars. My car is a Mark Martin look-a-like. I am a HUGE NASCAR FAN, have followed the circuit for a long time. Now I am very active in Simulation Racing and belong to two NASCAR on-line leagues. We get together once a week and 20-25 of us race at tracks like Bristol, Martinsville, Atlanta, etc. I will be featuring theses races with pictures and stuff. The simulation is very realistic in the handling and geometry of how a stock car handles...

Lastly & most importantly, is the light of my life, my little girl. She makes everyday a miracle and I thank god everynite for her......So thats me in a nutshell.
